SEARCH WARRANTS EXECUTED AT NINE BROOKLYN STORES SUSPECTED OF SELLING COUNTERFEIT "NOLLYWOOD" FILMS MORE THAN 10,000 ILLEGALLY COPIED DVDS RECOVERED
Brooklyn, November 4, 2010 - Kings County District Attorney Charles J. Hynes today announced an investigation into the counterfeiting and illegal sale of movies from the Nigerian film industry, or Nollywood. KCDA Detective Investigators recovered more than 10,000 counterfeit DVDs earlier this week.
